TERMS & CONDITIONS
Status Supercar Society - Effective February 2025
IMPORTANT: These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding legal agreement between Status Supercar Society and you, the Entrant. By purchasing an Entry or participating in the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
1. NATURE OF THE EVENT
1.1 The Event: Status Supercar Society organizes luxury automotive lifestyle events (“the Event”). The Event is a non-competitive road rally and social gathering. It is not a race, time trial, or contest of speed.
1.2 Not a Package Holiday: You acknowledge that you are purchasing an Entry Fee to a scheduled automotive event. While Status Supercar Society arranges logistics (such as accommodation and crossings) to facilitate the Event, these are incidental to the primary purpose of the Event. This agreement is for the sale of a ticket/entry to an event, not a package holiday.
1.3 Route & Schedule: Suggested routes are provided for enjoyment. Status reserves the right to alter the route, schedule, or destination at any time due to operational requirements or force majeure without liability.
2. DRIVER CONDUCT & SAFETY
2.1 Responsible Driving: Entrants must drive responsibly and with respect for other road users. “Tailgating,” racing, and aggressive driving are strictly prohibited.
2.2 Zero Tolerance: We operate a zero-tolerance policy regarding:
-
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
-
Reckless or dangerous driving.
-
Antisocial behavior that damages the reputation of Status Supercar Society.
-
2.3 Exclusion: The Organiser reserves the absolute right to remove any Entrant from the Event immediately for a breach of these standards. In such cases, no refund of the Entry Fee will be given, and you will be responsible for your own onward travel.
3. ELIGIBILITY & VEHICLES
3.1 Age & License: All drivers must be 18 years or older and hold a full, valid driving license.
3.2 Documentation: You are solely responsible for validity of your passport, visas, and vehicle documents for all countries visited.
3.3 Vehicle Compliance: Your vehicle must be roadworthy, taxed, and legal for use in the country of travel. You must carry all legally required safety equipment (e.g., warning triangles, breathalyzers).
4. INSURANCE & RISK
4.1 Mandatory Insurance: You must obtain and maintain:
-
Third-Party Motor Insurance: Explicitly covering participation in a “non-competitive road rally” or “tour.”
-
Travel Insurance: Covering medical expenses, personal liability, and cancellation.
4.2 Breakdown: Status Supercar Society does not provide mechanical support. You must have high-level European breakdown cover (including repatriation). We are not liable for missed events due to mechanical failure.
4.3 Acknowledgement of Risk: You acknowledge that participation in an automotive road event carries inherent risks. You participate entirely at your own risk.
5. ENTRY FEES & PAYMENTS
5.1 Nature of Fee: The Entry Fee secures your place on the tour and includes access to Event venues, logistics management, and listed hospitality.
5.2 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your Entry.
5.3 Balance Payment: The full Entry Fee balance is due 90 days prior to the Event start date. Failure to pay by this deadline will result in the forfeiture of your place and deposit.
5.4 Incidentals: The Entry Fee does not include fuel, tolls, fines, or personal expenses (e.g., room service, alcohol). A credit card must be provided at hotel check-in for security.
6. CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWAL
6.1 Entrant Withdrawal: Due to the high upfront costs of organizing the Event, the following cancellation terms apply strictly
-
Withdrawal > 90 days before Event: Loss of Deposit.
-
Withdrawal < 90 days before Event: 75% of the Entry Fee is payable
6.2 Transfer Policy: Entries are personal and non-transferable to future events. Name changes (transferring a confirmed place to another eligible driver) are subject to Organiser approval!
6.3 Event Cancellation (Force Majeure): If the Event is cancelled, postponed, or altered due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., war, pandemics, extreme weather, government restrictions), Status Supercar Society is not liable for refunds or compensation. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover this risk.
7. ACCOMMODATION & LOGISTICS
7.1 Hospitality: Accommodation is provided on a “run of house” basis (standard double/twin) for the convenience of Entrants.
7.2 Third-Party Suppliers: Status Supercar Society acts as an agent in arranging hotels and crossings. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or service failures of third-party hotels or transport providers.
8. MEDIA & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
8.1 Image Rights: By entering the Event, you grant Status Supercar Society a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your name, image, likeness, and vehicle in any media (including paid advertising and social media) for promotional purposes.
8.2 Brand Assets: All content on the Status website and Event materials is our exclusive intellectual property. You may not use our brand assets for commercial purposes.
8.3 Personal Filming: You strictly agree not to publish footage of any road traffic accidents involving participants.
9. LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
9.1 Indemnity: You agree to indemnify Status Supercar Society, its directors, and employees against any claims, losses, or lawsuits arising from your actions, negligence, or breach of these Terms.
9.2 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Status Supercar Society excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the Event.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
